  1. I chose your link 3: http://www.distance-educator.com/index.phtml and read the article Research Areas in Distance Education: A Delphi Study. I chose this article because I would eventually like to design courses for distance education. This study covered three questions covering research areas in distance education, most important distance education research area and most neglected fields in distance education research. I found the study to be interesting and may revisit it for future information.
Another article I found interesting was the 7 things you should know about... Microblogging article. First, as stated in the article, microblogging is the practice of posting small pieces of digital content on the internet. The best known microblogging site is Twitter. Second, microblogging has become mainstream for professional and personal pursuits alike. Third, an account must be created in able to post or comment on a post. These accounts can link cell phones, email accounts, instant messaging and web pages among other types of media. This enables portability (number four) that makes for spontaneity. The fifth thing you should know is that this does not cater to everyone’s taste. Some see it as a waste of time and maybe even an invasion to privacy because of the ability to map out where one is. Number six alludes to the simplification of a variety of communication channels and ease of use. Finally, the implications for teaching and learning are “By offering a variety of media and increas¬ingly sophisticated tools, microblogging fosters communication for students that seems more natural and enjoyable and could inspire them in new genres of performances or art.”
I, as you, have found this site very informative and interesting. This is a good site to review research findings.
